The quality management system

Tradition and quality are the key words that make our production special: our cheese factory implements an integrated quality control management system certified in compliance with the strictest international standards. 
               
Certifications:
 
Longo cheeses respond to BRC and IFS standards, international regulations promoted with the aim of harmonising the quality requirements implemented by the European Mass Retail industry.
 
In the first case, the BRC (British Retailer Consortium) is a standard born in the UK, speifically for the safety of agri-food products.
 
The IFS (International Food Standard) is an equivalent tool issued by the most important names in the German, French and Italian Mass retail industry.
 
The two standards envisage certification audits by independent boards, for greater protection of the products, with a view to maintaining the food safety of the cheeses and ensuring customer satisfaction and defence.
