Caseificio Longo, based in Rivarolo Canavese in the province of Turin, was a key player at PLMA Amsterdam 2025, the trade show organized annually by the “Private Label Manufacturers Association”—the international association for private label consumer goods, which since 1985 has been an essential event for retail buyers.
This year, the fair once again dedicated a special exhibition section to the “New Product Expo,” selecting the most innovative and interesting products for buyers. These products were displayed in a “Supermarket of Ideas,” providing extensive visibility to visitors.
Caseificio Longo was included among these and showcased a new product that promises to be an international success: Tomino del Boscaiolo with Spianata Calabra.
Tomino del Boscaiolo, a soft cheese with a smooth and compact texture, blends with Spianata Calabra, creating a perfect combination of flavors that tell the story of Italian culinary tradition and authenticity. With this new product, Caseificio Longo continues its mission to bring the excellence of Piedmontese dairy tradition to the world.
“Participating in PLMA Amsterdam was a strategic choice to meet European and international buyers who are always looking for interesting innovations and high-performing products to launch, especially on retail shelves but also beyond,” stated Nicola Caprani, Export Manager of Caseificio Longo. “Tomino del Boscaiolo with Spianata Calabra is born from our commitment to authenticity and the promotion of typical products from our lands, with ever-new flavor combinations and winning packaging. We want to offer consumers a product that best represents tradition, but also the innovative spirit that characterizes our company.”
Caseificio Longo, always committed to producing high-quality cheeses, stands out for its ability to develop products designed for those who love genuineness and authentic flavor, without compromise. The company continues to innovate while remaining faithful to tradition, and with this new product, it demonstrates its ability to respond to the demands of an increasingly globalized and refined market.
