The twentieth edition of Cibus (held from August 31 to September 3) was a success, even exceeding expectations: this is reflected in the figures from the four-day event in Parma, which saw two thousand exhibiting companies and nearly 40,000 visitors, about two thousand of whom were from abroad.
A very significant figure, even more so when considering the still uncertain period regarding travel from abroad to Italy. And it should be noted that “the main international operators who were unable to attend sent their sourcers and brokers,” says Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma.
And we at Caseificio Longo were there, representing Italian excellence as a benchmark of Piedmontese dairy tradition.
We were part of the Buon Gusto Italiano stand, a business network founded in 2016 and composed of 26 selected companies that represent the best of Italian agri-food excellence.
Together with Buon Gusto Italiano, we showcased not only our products but also our increasingly determined commitment to the environment, introducing our new packaging, which makes it easier to separate paper and plastic (and is produced using 50% less plastic).
