The 21st edition of Cibus in Parma, the international food exhibition, ended on Friday, May 6, and we at Caseificio Longo were there, as always, to introduce a large and interested audience to the Piedmontese dairy excellence we have represented for over 70 years.
After the 2021 edition (which exceptionally took place in early September with quite interesting numbers), the edition we have just returned from confirmed Cibus as the benchmark for bringing us producers, buyers, and professional operators together, both Italian and international.
Despite the global situation still being complex for various reasons, the numbers for the 2022 edition were very significant: we were among the three thousand exhibitors, and we were able to showcase our excellence to over 60,000 visitors (including over three thousand top foreign buyers).
We welcomed these visitors to the “Tomini Forest,” a stand that immediately captured the visitors’ attention: our Tomini, both the roll-style and the Boscaiolo, ideally guided those present on a journey of taste, between the Strada del Seirass and the Valle del Tomino.
All accompanied by many gourmet tastings prepared by our chef Fabrizio Frasca, different for each of the four days of the fair, where our products were always the delicious protagonists.
We are happy and proud to have been there because, as communicated by the organizers, this edition has once again demonstrated how Italian agri-food, thanks to its roots and traditions, is synonymous with absolute quality not only for the catering industry, as has been the case for decades, but also for retail. Such a significant response from the public has ensured that next year Cibus will be scheduled for March 29 and 30, in harmony with Vinitaly, the other great Made in Italy trade fair.
