A cheese with a very soft, uniform paste of straw-yellow color, the product owes its name to the traditional preservation method on hay or straw.
The light, slightly bloomed rind and brief aging give Paglierina® an unmistakable flavor and the exterior appearance of cheeses aged on straw, preserving the characteristic aroma of hay and almond.
Awarded the Grolla d’Oro Formaggi d’autore 2010 and the Silver World Cheese Award 2016/2017.
