Caseificio Longo’s participation in the 30th edition of Gulfood—the world’s largest food and beverage trade show held at the Dubai World Trade Centre—concluded with extremely positive results.
In an international setting featuring the global food industry’s major players, the Rivarolo Canavese-based company reaffirmed its role as an ambassador for Made in Italy, bringing the tradition and innovation of Piedmontese dairy culture to the heart of the Middle East.

Tomino del Boscaiolo: An international icon
The focal point of the exhibition was the famous Tomino del Boscaiolo, the flagship product that has made Caseificio Longo a benchmark in the soft cheese market. Throughout the trade fair, the Tomino was presented in its most classic form through live cooking demonstrations, highlighting its culinary versatility—from the grill to the most refined gourmet recipes.
“This was our first time participating, in an edition that for the first time involved two different Gulfood locations due to the strong expansion of recent years,” comments Nicola Caprani, Export Manager of Caseificio Longo.
“On one hand, the flow of visitors was somewhat split between two fronts; on the other, concentrating ‘Dairy’ producers in a single pavilion allowed us to welcome and meet buyers specifically focused on our sector. In addition to our most classic products, which can be exported to the Middle East and generally outside Europe only by air in the ‘Chilled’ version, we presented the new ‘Frozen’ line centered around Tomino del Boscaiolo in all its versions and formats. The investment made isn’t just for Middle Eastern markets; Gulfood is increasingly a crossroads for international food markets, and the 2026 edition proved it.”

Expansion strategies and sustainability
Caseificio Longo’s participation was not just a product showcase, but also an important networking opportunity. The company met with buyers, distributors, and industry professionals from over 50 countries, seeing a growing interest in products that combine local tradition with the highest quality standards—essential requirements for competing in the most demanding global markets.
The success in Dubai marks another milestone in the brand’s internationalization journey, as it continues to invest in technological innovation and sustainability without ever losing the unbreakable bond with its Canavese roots.
